Maintenance Complex
The hangar is placed in the middle of building surrounded by 3 side annex buildings including maintenance headquarters. Three stories above and one story underground are set aside for maintenance. Line and base maintenance works are carried out in the hangar which is capable of accommodating two 747-400 Boeing jets and a A330 class aircraft simultaneously.

Korean Air is proud not only of the construction method of its
building but also of state of the art facilities and equipment
installed in it. These facilities include multi-purpose ceiling
cranes that can carry maintenance mechanic to every partof a
aircraft, a computer system that automatically control the
 storage of huge aircraft wheel tires, a center for adjusting all kind of
 maintenance equipment according to our own Standards and a simulator to train maintenance
 crew to service B777 aircraft.

Korean Air received ISO 14001 certificate in December 1996.
Korean Air has taken the lead in ensuring a green environment with our wastewater disposal system and other environmental features.
