Korean Air Maintenance Training Center,
organized in 1971, provides comprehensive maintenance training
to enhance the skills of the personnel, starting from basic
and special maintenance all the way to maintenance management.
|
Our
training meets Air Transport Association(ATA) 104 Level ¥² guidelines
for aircraft
type rating and all training courses
are designed based on FAA/EASA Part 147 standards.
Operating about 750 training courses
from classroom to e-Learning, over 13,000 persons
undergo technical training per
year. We offer a wide range of training courses to meet
customer¡¯s needs and it is our
goal to assist our customers to achieve one of the highest
standard in the world. |

KCASA Aviation Regulation
We conform to the Civil Aviation Regulations. It sets the limitations
of the Korean Aircraft
Maintenance Engineer¡¯s License, specifies type training standards,
experience levels,
and procedural requirements that must be satisfied prior to
granting basic licenses and
aircraft type endorsements. Maintenance Training
Program
An Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) required by the Korean
Civil Aviation Safety
Authority (KCASA) provides a structured maintenance training
program to train and
qualify maintenance staff.
FAR/EASA standards on personnel licensing
KAL has maintenance organization certificates from FAA, EASA
and etc.
